Human Resources – #865

We have been “taking care” of #865 for quite a LONG time. As we know, he was one of the few who were not surrendered to Child Protective Services when we had that raid a few years back on StitchCo’s charter program – The Happy and Funtastic Orphanarium Which Is By No Means A Cover For The Training and Conditioning of Child Soldiers. Between the name “The Happy and Funtastic Orphanarium Which Is By No Means A Cover For the Training and Conditioning of Child Soldiers” and trying to apply a synergistic approach to R&D, it was bound to happen sooner or later.

From outward appearances, #865 appears stunted. He is unable to grow any facial hair (which makes the clean shaven part of the dress code quite a bit of a breeze for him), but even seems to have no real secondary sexual characteristics. While LikeFood lead to some of our greatest leaps forward in the creation of fully synthetic foodstuffs to cheaply feed our laborers, I can’t help but wonder if feeding the orphans such foods was an overly great idea. It did provide us with valuable data, but in my humble opinion, it cut into our Child Soldier program a little too much.

It also appears that 865’s emotional development were stunted as a result of his involvement in the program as well as the assorted treatments we have been and are giving to him now. He constantly carries around a plush toy, Hopsy the Happy Bunny. For the time being, between the Time Out Pit and our heavy use of assorted agents in the Mandatory Voluntary Happy Pill Test Time FOR FUN AND SCIENCE™, he is still malleable enough to follow commands. A sock puppet seems to work best when issuing orders.

Note from R&D and Dr. Stitch – Find any reason to send him to the Time-Out Pit. Any Reason. AT ALL.
